Laragh House Developments, the Cambridge-based residential property development company, has joined forces with property and investment company Rheebridge. Rheebridge owner David Rapley has taken a 50% stake in Laragh House, the company set up by Simon Somerville-Large to provide property advice and to develop niche market, high quality residential properties in Cambridge and the surrounding area. The pair previously worked together at Camstead Homes, the company founded and owned by David Rapley, for nine years.
Says Simon Somerville-Large: “I am delighted to be working with David once again. We have an excellent track record of developing high quality homes between us, we have a great trust in each other and are able to strategically talk through projects and bounce innovative ideas off each other. This should lead to us advising on and developing more complex opportunities in and around Cambridge in the future.”
Laragh House Developments has already been responsible for some of Cambridge’s most iconic recent developments in conjunction with joint venture partner Enterprise Heritage, including the Kings Keep apartments on Castle Street, 11 houses on Cavendish Road, 10 apartments at the Lexington scheme, Long Road and three large multimillion pound Arts & Crafts style houses on Storey’s Way. The company has also recently completed an award-winning development of 12 apartments on Parkside in partnership with Peterhouse and E.P.G.L.
